Model overview

What is Seedance 2.5?

The next announced generation in ByteDance's Seedance AI video model family.

Seedance 2.5 follows Seedance 2.0's shift toward unified multimodal audio-video creation. Early industry reporting highlights longer scenes, richer reference input and more precise iteration as the central direction of the release.

ByteDance's currently discoverable official model directory has not yet published a complete Seedance 2.5 specification. Panify therefore treats duration, resolution, reference limits and editing controls as provisional until its production endpoint is tested.

Why the distinction matters
A provider's headline specification may differ from the modes, limits or price available through a specific product integration. The verified Panify generator will be the source of truth when access opens.

Pre-release reporting

What has been reported for Seedance 2.5

These capabilities describe public reporting, not verified Panify output settings.

Reported: up to 30s
Longer scene direction
A longer single generation could give actions, dialogue beats and connected camera changes more time to develop without stitching many short clips.
Reported: up to 50
Richer reference control
More supported references could help communicate characters, products, locations, motion and visual direction more directly than text alone.
Reported: up to 4K
Higher-resolution output
Industry previews expect a high-resolution workflow intended for polished commercial and cinematic production.
Reported capability
More precise iteration
Reported editing improvements may make it possible to refine supported parts of a result while preserving more of the original sequence.
These figures come from third-party pre-release reporting and may change. They do not mean Panify currently supports the feature. Exact settings will replace this notice after the production endpoint is verified.

Planned workflow

Create with the inputs your idea needs

Panify will enable only the modes supported and tested by its production endpoint.

Text to video
Write a structured scene brief covering subject, action, environment, camera, lighting, mood and sound.
Image to video
Start from a key image and direct motion, camera path and atmosphere around the visual details you want to preserve.
Reference-driven video
Combine supported reference assets to communicate identity, product details, location, style, motion or audio more directly.

Prompt guide

How to prompt Seedance 2.5

Write like a compact production brief: put non-negotiable details first and describe changes chronologically.

[Subject] + [Action] + [Environment] + [Shot sequence] + [Camera] + [Lighting/style] + [Sound] + [Constraints]
Product film

A matte black travel bottle stands on wet volcanic rock at dawn. Begin with a macro shot of condensation, then make a slow clockwise orbit as warm sunlight reaches the logo. A hand lifts the bottle at the final beat. Premium outdoor campaign, realistic droplets, soft wind and distant waves. Keep the bottle shape, label and color consistent with the authorized reference.

Character scene

An independent florist closes her shop on a rainy evening. Start outside the window, push through the doorway as she wraps the final bouquet, then cut to a close-up when she smiles at a handwritten note. Natural handheld movement, warm interior against cool rain, quiet street ambience. Keep the same character, apron and bouquet across every shot.

Vertical social hook

Vertical 9:16. Open on an extreme close-up of a sneaker hitting a neon-lit treadmill, cut rapidly between the runner, speed display and sole, then finish on a clean product hero frame. Fast commercial pacing, crisp highlights, energetic gym ambience. No text overlays; leave space at the top for captions.

Creative applications

Built for complete creative beats

The reported direction of Seedance 2.5 is most useful where a scene needs time, continuity and specific visual control.

Review quality and rights

Inspect every frame
AI video can still produce inconsistent identities, object details, text, motion or audio. Review faces, hands, packaging, logos, dialogue and physical interactions before commercial use.
Use authorized media
Use only media you own or are authorized to use. Obtain consent before using a real person's identity, voice or performance, and do not request protected assets without the necessary rights.
